“Yes.” Arietta confirmed, gazing upwards to meet his towering height — at least compared to her, since she is considerably shorter than most that she meets. Upon his supportive stance regarding his absence of intimidation, she decided to lower her guard for the time being and supposedly relax for once. In all fairness, her monsters could kill him in second’s notice if he turned out the opposite of whom he claimed to be. Following his statement, a conspicuous twinkle emerged on her lips.
“Hehe. ♪ The God-Generals are the six highest-ranking members of the Oracle Knights.” She extrapolated, in spite of him already possessing the knowledge pertaining to them. As she started to feel more comfortable, the stuttering in her diction present prior gradually faded away. “I’m known as The Wild because… I-I can communicate with monsters. Well… what if you gave a title to yourself…?”
"H-His name is… Reki,” She pronounced in an accent familiar to the monsters. “Who is your partner? Are they here too…?” If there were two of them and one of them is missing, then an issue may be at hand. “People are usually frightened by my friends, so… i-it’s nice to hear someone isn’t.”
“I don’t think we have oracle knights back home in Johto.” He replied. Golden eyes glittered as he thought to himself. Nope. The closest thing to a knight was maybe Virgil or of the League…yeah.
“Communicate with monsters?” He parroted with a note of awe. Why did everyone else seem to be able to do that, but him? His host could, his friend could…Well he supposed Pokémon were not like monsters like this, but still! It was the principle of the thing.
“Oh uh…A title to myself,” Well he had not thought of that, but what would it be? Of Ice did not sound cool and of Shadows sounded incredibly cliché. “I’m not sure, what would be cool sounding?”
Quite a “childish” dilemma one might say.
“Reki? Oh hey it starts with an R like my name.” He commented, eyes shining much as a child’s would when given their favorite toy. He gave the Liger, now dubbed Reki, another scratch to which the creature responded quite joyfully.
“Oh? My partner? Yeah, they’re in my pocket right now.”
“Really? But they’re pretty cool. You know, once you get past the whole them being pretty big part.”
